The new A.I.S.E. annual Activity and Sustainability Report has just been published. It covers the period from June 2014 to June 2015. The report provides an overview of A.I.S.E.’s two key areas of activity: product safety & innovation and sustainability initiatives. This year’s focal point is the Professional Cleaning and Hygiene sector, which makes a vital contribution to public health and wellbeing.

Just like last year, the sustainability section reports strong results. Key performance indicators highlight the value of the A.I.S.E. Charter for Sustainable Cleaning.  The reduction in CO2 emissions continues with the total falling by 2.3% on a like-for-like basis versus 2013. Another key highlight, the number of consumer products carrying the ASP logo grew from 820m to 1 billion, an increase of 22% on a like-for-like basis versus 2013. From the laundry category alone, 33% of products comply with the Charter Advanced Sustainability Profiles (ASPs), a testament to the Charter’s success.
